Game Design Studio Summer Camp

iThrive Games is partnering with educational technology experts Matthew Farber and Mia Williams of the University of Northern Colorado’s Technology, Innovation and Pedagogy Department to offer a summer camp experience for high school students on the UNC campus (Greeley, CO).

Game designers

Participants will play, analyze, and design games as a way to “think big” about the systems that impact their lives and how they would change them for the better, all while using and developing their social and emotional skills.

mentorship

College students studying education and educational technologies will be trained to run the camp and will facilitate 2 weeks of game design with and for the high school participants (M-F, 11am-4pm).

Ticket sales open Monday, April 22 via Eventbrite.

Cost to attend is $50 and covers daily lunch, snacks, materials, and a T-shirt.
